ADSL Line State Shows ADSL line status – Activation, Training, Channel

Analysis, Showtime, or Down.

ADSL Startup Attempts The number of times the Barricade has started training

the ADSL line for an acceptable signal rate.

Elapsed Time Length of time this connection has been established.

SNR Margin Operating margin above the minimum acceptable signal

to noise ratio.

Line Attenuation The difference in the power level received at the near end

(that is, your location) compared to that transmitted from

the head end.

Errored Seconds Number of seconds during which signal or handshake

errors occurred. These errors occur primarily during

initial modem training.

Loss of Signal Failure due to loss of signal at the near end.

Loss of Frame Number of frames dropped due to signal or handshaking

errors.

CRC Errors Number of Ethernet Cyclic Redundancy Check errors

detected by this device.

Data Rate The current data rate in use on this line.

Latency Simultaneous transport of one or more bearer channels,

in which all user data is allocated to either the FAST or the

INTERLEAVED path.
